Conference Summary
The Pioneers in Infectious Agents and Cancer Meeting, whose main objective is to celebrate scientists who contributed most to field, will be articulated in the following 4 sessions: HTLV discovery; HIV identification; Pathogen-driven Opportunistic Cancers; Preventive and Therapeutic Vaccines.
The 2017 Meeting will be focused on the work and accomplishments of Dr. Robert C. Gallo, whose 80-year anniversary is on March 23rd.
The meeting will cover the major thematic areas in which Dr Gallo and collaborators activities were held over a >30-year period at the NIH in Bethesda before and subsequently at the IHV in Baltimore.
